Developmental Editing
Developmental editing digs deep into the heart of your book — its structure, pacing, and purpose. Instead of fixing commas, we focus on what the story is really saying and how to make it stronger. You’ll get honest, detailed feedback on your concept, organization, character arcs, and flow so your manuscript reads with clarity, confidence, and emotional impact. Delivered as comments on the manuscript and an editorial letter, with few direct edits. Includes 1 round of editing.

Copyediting/Line Editing
If you can invest in one round of editing, make it this one. Our signature style was developed after a decade working with independent authors to address the most common needs. A combined line and copyedit, it covers everything from sentence structure and word choice to grammar, punctuation, and consistency. We correct mechanical issues, refine awkward phrasing, and ensure your style, tone, and formatting are cohesive throughout. This edit also includes a light developmental layer—flagging unclear sections, suggesting smoother transitions, and strengthening logic and flow—so the manuscript reads cleanly and professionally from start to finish. Includes 1 round of editing and 1 round of light revisions for changes based on our feedback.
